Ruby’s Diner – Critically Viewed 4/10

The Classic – ly Bad
On 10/1/2026, Sarah tried “The Classic” from Ruby’s Diner. This restaurant should not to be confused with the 50’s style Ruby’s Diner. There were no roller blades or great tunes at this establishment. Anyway, this was not her first experience at Ruby’s Diner, and it was thought not to be the last. But what Sarah received, Sarah decided she had enough.
I chose “The Classic” combo with no sauce, just meat, cheese, and bun. The burger did not taste good. The meat itself – too much pepper and oil. It always feels bad when your mouth ends up with it not feeling clean from oil. The cheese was not inspiring or delectable, just a flavor added. The buns were not toasted or crunchy, they were soft and mediocre. The fries were peppered and had a nice kick to the taste. They also had a good amount of potato but there was no crunch or good after taste. It didn’t have the must have feeling of “I can’t stop eating this!” that all fries and chips should have.
Overall, I give it a 4/10.
It certainly wasn’t great, but the fries and speed of delivery were acceptable. It also wasn’t inedible nor gave me a stomachache.
Too add, I didn’t finish the meal partially due to the size of the meal. The burger itself was pretty big and the amount of fries were good. But the quality was not worth the delivery. It was worth pick up of $13 for the amount received but not for the quality.
Lastly, my husband didn’t get anything. It was just me. So for all of those reasons, definitely not worth getting a 2nd time at all.
After thoughts – Remembrance from other time I went there – the chocolate shake was not good, and that always makes me sad…
